The Wiltshire Agreed Syllabus 2011 is structured in order to support teachers in developing their own planning in their schools and there is also on Wisenet schemes of work, lesson plans, and starter activities to help you.  After establishing the aims and contribution of RE, the legal position and guidance on time for RE, the syllabus sets out the key components of the RE curriculum in the section: “Breadth of Study.” The use of enquiry in religious education is encouraged and there are exemplar key questions, based around a set of themes, which develop in depth and scope through the key stages.
