I am pleased to advise that seminar information is now available for the 16th West of England ICT Conference taking place on Thursday 26 June 2014 at the UWE Exhibition and Conference Centre in Bristol.

The attached conference flyer provides information on the wide-ranging programme of seminars that are on offer which cover all key stages. The flyer will also be sent to schools at the beginning of Term 6 for you to display in your staffroom. It includes sessions on programming, the curriculum and leadership issues; as well as opportunities to look at the impact of technologies on learning. We will also again be joined by schools in our School Showcase giving delegates the opportunity to look at practice from other schools.

There will be a large exhibition of technology suppliers and the opportunity to engage with representatives to explore how their products can benefit learning in your school. It is also an opportunity to engage with those suppliers you have already purchased from to ensure that you are making the best use of their resources to enhance learning.

Further information including information about the three keynote speakers and how to book online can be accessed at our West of England ICT Conference website at http://www.westofenglandictconference.org.uk/. Once you have booked your place, South Gloucestershire local authority will contact your for your seminar choices. The website also provides information on how to access our conference scheduling tool and you can join the conversation on Twitter with #WEICT14 or follow @WEICT14.

This conference is a crucial event for all those interested in ICT and education. It provides an opportunity to learn from practitioners in other schools, have your thinking challenged and to network with others who are enthusiastic in engaging learners through technology.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 26 June.
